Summer 2013/14 was a downer for 8 Bit Love. So they locked themselves away in a garage for a weekend and wrote their latest EP Slummer Time. The six tracks are full of loud guitars, dirty synths and fast dance beats.

The first taste from the EP, FOMO received many online features. The music video features footage from their In 3D tour, containing partial nudity, twerking on national landmarks and eating kale in a tour van.

8 Bit Love have been kicking around Melbourne for close to four and a half years. With 100% cowbell per member, their previous releases include a triple single cassette tape ABC-side (2013), the visually 3D In 3D (2012), and the double A side Rock The Digressors (2011) that was accompanied with a digital gig.
